Corner plate (angle plate)
Steel plate that anchors a fabric corner to the structure.
A corner plate is a cut steel plate, usually triangular or rounded, with holes for bolts, pins and cable ends. It sits at each corner of a shade and gathers the forces from the fabric and the edge cables into one point that connects to the post or anchor. Plates are cut to suit the corner angle and the fittings around them. A plate with clean, smooth edges and correctly placed holes protects the fabric and makes installation faster.

Questions about this part
Can you cut a plate to match my old one?
Send a photo with the old plate on a flat surface and its main dimensions, or the drawing, and we prepare a matching plate.
Why are smooth edges important?
The fabric presses against the plate under high load. A sharp or rough edge can cut the fabric over time, so edges should be ground smooth.
